Bukit Fraser is on the Selangor  / Pahang border approximately 103km north, or two hours drive, from Kuala Lumpur, but almost all visitors come through Selangor, and the state border actually cuts through the station at Fraser’s Hill. This hill resort was named after an English adventurer, Louis James Fraser, an ore-trader and mule train operator.
