The Capital District is a diverse region offering a large variety of wedding options including: historic mansions, art galleries, renovated warehouses, museums, antiques, Shaker properties, mountains (Adirondack, Berkshire, Catskills), The Hudson River, lots of lakes, rustic barns, fields and forests, the Appalachian Trail, the Saratoga Race Track, polo clubs, golf, ski resorts, simple country churches, and performing arts centers.

The Hudson Valley Region is a playground for those who live in New York City. The river is flanked by grand mansions, bountiful fields, orchards, and vineyards, quaint villages, state parks, interesting museums, marinas, the dramatic Palisades, the Catskill mountains, lighthouses, islands and even a castle ruin. Riverboat weddings are unique to the area and weddings celebrating the harvest moon are particular favorites in this region.
